The broadcasting station was built in 1935 with brick stones and brazen roof. The roof has the tough of traditional Japan architecture.

JFCK built this station to serve as public broadcasting. Taiwanese call this place “Fang Song Tao”. Such broadcasting sites could only be found now in Taipei 228 Memorial Park and Taichung Park. Since Taiwan’s independence, the Taichung broadcasting branch had been using this station till 1960. Now it’s only another scenic spot in the park.
