The creativity behind: two sets of lantern to represent Taichung Culture. Environment conservancy, art and humanism is combined with the local spirit to make the theme.

This lantern represents the eight separate districts with their own traits. Under the mayor, Hu Ji Quiang’s leadership, Taichung is transforming to a bigger city. The ambition is to make this city known to the word. (Sponsored by Yue-mei entertainment world)

Eight gallop horses jump over the universe

This lantern uses Horse-year as the theme. A heaven horse carries three stars: fortune, prosperity and longevity on its back. This represents that a god blessing is brought to Taichung people. (Sponsored by religious organization)
