Mt.Touke of Dakeng is amazingly beautiful throughout the year and it is abundant in animals and plants. Mt.Touke stratum owns a characteristics of the gravel stratum, so it can't keep water in the stratum. This characteristics keeps the development of the broadleaf forest away and allows temperate plants eke to live here; it also witness the glacial epoch in the ancient times. The climate of humid summer and dry winter provides the mountains at low latitude a particular landscape of deciduous leaves. There are many kinds of deciduous trees. The climate forms an intensive phenomenon--more than 35 kinds of deciduous trees such as zelkovas, maps, Flame goldrain, Taiwan Cherry, Cypresses or oaks, Photinia etc. Mt. Touke of Dakeng is the place with the most productive golden deciduous trees in Taiwan.

  Dakeng area is abundant in the natural resources, especially Dakeng's agricultural special products. There are many kinds, but the most representative ones are bamboo shoots, citrus and Oncidium, known as "Three treasures of Dakeng." When you come here, you can not only understand Dakeng's beauty of humanity, learn to plant by yourself but also enjoy the fun from fruit picking.
