Taichung Park is a big green place that locates in the downtown. Main roads such as Gongyuan Rd., Shuangshi Rd., Ziyou Rd. and Jingwu Rd surround Taichung park and forms a convenient transportation net. Parking lot includes the parking building on Ziyou Rd, the parking area on Sanmin Rd and nearby space. Taichung Park is in the center of downtown. Main roads and high buildings all surround it. The south part of the park consists of a crowded business area. National Taichung Library, Zhong-Xing Hall, and the rear playground of Guangfu Elementary School along with other comparatively lower buildings are in the west and the north. In the east are the 16-store-high parking building on Ziyou Rd and the Gancheng Shopping Mall on Shuangshi Rd.

Transportation

Driving：

Get down the Taya interchange from freeway. Drive along Taya Rd toward the downtown. Then turn to the Gongyuan Rd.

Bus：

Take Taichung Bus, No.1, 2, 26 or 43. Or Renyou Bus, No.11, 10, 30, 40, 20. Get off at the Taichung Park spot.

Walking：

10-minute walk from Taichung Railway Station to Taichung Park.
