Today is the first day. I feel happy but don't know how I will feel while doing volunteer work.

Huang, Yi-Chieh and I are in charge of Grade Four Class Love. I am assigned to take care of Pei who is suffering from epilepsy. Her self-care ability is worse than other students in the class. She is stubborn and doesn't like to follow what teacher asks her to do. She often forgets what teacher taught her, so she needs a lot of help. While I help her to brush teeth, she needs to wear on the pinafore to prevent her clothes from getting wet.

After several days, every student have improvement. However, teacher told me that I have to prevent to correct Pei's mistakes directly, or she will get angry.

Today I found that Pei has improvement in brushing teeth.

While I was wearing pinafore for Pei, she fell down. I was shocked and didn't know what to do. She didn't cry and stood up herself. She is great. I remind myself that I need to be more careful.

When I came to Class Love, I saw Lin, Yi-Yun was feeding a student. I asked her to let me try and then she taught me how to feed the student. I have to feed them slowly and ask him to open the mouth.

Today the teacher of Class Love told us that she will go to other school for training from Monday to Friday, so students of Class Love will brush teeth and wash the face earlier than before. After I helped them to brush teeth and wash the face, I helped them to put on the blanket. At the time, I was playing with Big Head and blamed by teacher because we were too noisy.

It rained today. Because teacher wanted to prevent them from slipping, she told us that we didn't have to brush their teeth. I helped one student to clean up after she used the restroom.

Because I finished my lunch too slow, when I arrived the restaurant, students all left. Then a teacher came to inform us that students were back to the classroom and asked us to help them to brush teeth and wash the face.

There are 3 more days left. I always regret that why I didn't ask teachers to let us do the work for a semester. I didn't eat the moon cake made by students because Wang, Tzu-Wei took me to computer classroom.

Because we took off 4 days, students of Class Love forget how to brush teeth and wash the face. Moreover, Pei was absent because she got sick.

I came to the classroom and found that a student was absent. I asked teacher about the student and teacher told me that because he ate too much moon cakes, he got a stomachache today and can't come to school.

Today is the last day. After knowing that I am leaving, they almost cried. After I comforted them, they felt better.

Today I have to pass on our experience to new volunteers. We had to let them know what they need to notice and reminded them not to do the same mistakes with us. I wondered if those new volunteers will take care of those children like us.

　　During the month in which we served as volunteers, with the instruction of the teachers, Huang, Yi-Chieh and I learned how to teach students how to brush teeth, wash the face, and put on the blanket for them. Of course, they also need to cooperate with us. Although we did the same things every day, sometimes we felt boring but sometimes we had fun. Something made us nervous also happened. For example, when two students were going to take toothbrush, they did not see my foot and step on it twice. My foot really hurt.

　　During the days in which I was a volunteer, I can feel that students are cute and innocent. Although I was not familiar with them in the first day, after several days, I become close to them. Therefore, being a volunteer in Class Love is a happy thing and is a good opportunity. I know how to take care of mentally or physically disabled students.
